This collection belongs to a friend of mine. I got a ride in the Audi a year or so ago, it was a blast even then, before he started the resto/mod on it. I haven’t seen the Peugeot yet but I’ll be at his place next weekend so I’ll be sure to check it out.
He occasionally goes to Katie’s Cars n Coffee in Great Falls, VA for all you DC area Jalops.

I can tell you from experience (I own one) that the 205 GTI is a blast. If you get a chance to drive it, do it. Take it to a curvy road though, it’ll handle highways just fine but it’s not what it’s made for.

Oh, I know. I’ve never asked to drive his cars, but I’ve gotten a ride in the Audi. I’m sure he’d give me a ride in the GTI if I asked, which I intend on doing.

That’s not the same thing as driving it yourself, but I can understand him not wanting others to drive his priced classics. I only let people whose driving skills I trust drive mine.

Well, like I said, I’ve never asked. If I did I’d say there’s a decent chance he’d let me. I’m just so nervous about driving other peoples classic cars.

Cool cars! I try to make sure my wallet is hidden whenever I read BringATrailer... someday.
